From the beginning of time Artists from all disciplines have worshipped the female form as an image to be admired for artistic qualities and the essence of natural beauty. The word Essence can mean a number of things, it could be a concentrated extract such as that obtained by the distilation of a fine perfume or tincture, but in this instance the essence of beauty, elegance and the soul are concentrated to try and produce an atmospheric, emotive or graphic image captured by the photographer, these may be realistic or manipulated to stimulate and excite the senses or to be admired as a thing of beauty.
